Blue Hills Area RCMP have arrested and charged an 18 year old R.M of Cornwallis  female, with Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking.

The arrest occurred around 01:00 AM on August 29th 2010, after RCMP were called to the RM of Daly, near the Town of Rivers, to a report of suspicious persons in the area.  As a result of this investigation, police located the 18 year old female as well as a 28 year old Brandon male, who were believed to be the subjects of the complaint.

The 18 year old female was found to be in possession of Cocaine and a significant amount of cash.   The combined estimated value of the Cocaine and cash is in excess of $ 17,000.00.

The 28 year old Brandon male was arrested and also taken into custody for breaching the condition of his Conditional Sentence Order.

Both appeared in Brandon court  on Monday August 30th,  where the female has been released on conditions.

The investigation into this incident continues.
